Positive Attitude
A positive attitude is essential to happiness, joy, and progress in life. This state of mind brings light, hope and enthusiasm into the life of those who possess it.
Adopting it in your life does not mean that everything will always move smoothly and there will be no bumps on the road. However, it ensures that any setback you might encounter will not stop you or change your state of mind, and that you will go on, try again, and do your best despite any setback.
1. Morning Routine
If we feed ourselves food with little to no nutritional value, we don't feel our best, can find our energy levels peaking and crashing through the day, and feel unregulated. A healthy breakfast allows us to fuel our bodies properly and can lead to more consistent energy levels, as well as feeling more alert and focused.
2. Carry A Attitude Of Happiness
It’s human nature that we want to be around happy people who make us feel good. The average employee spends about 90 000 hours at work in their lifetime. The impact our attitude has on one another is exponential! That’s why we work hard to create working environments that are supportive, approachable and that foster relationships. Happiness is an attitude, but it is also an action. No one wakes up happy every single day, but if you commit yourself to the cause it won’t be long before you feel great.
As leaders in an organization, it’s important to make demonstrating a happy attitude a daily priority. A happy attitude is infectious to the people around you and helps them get excited about coming to work. When you love what you do, and who you do it with, all aspects of a job become more enjoyable. Whether it’s spending five minutes in the morning asking how your team's weekend was, or flashing someone a smile ‘just because’, happiness is an important part of our culture at 24-7 Intouch.
3. Relish Small Pleasures
3. Relish Small Pleasures
“Think big thoughts, but relish small pleasures.” -H. Jackson Brown Jr.
Small pleasures are truly one of the best things in life. And the best part about small pleasures is that they don’t take a lot of money. Some of my favorite small pleasures are a cup of hot coffee, snuggling my dog and a long walk.
4. Smile
4. Smile
Smile is a simple way to make a first good impression. It removes sourness and selfishness from face. Actions speak louder than words, and a smile says that i like you , you de me happy, I am glad to see you.You can see the effect of a smile from a baby’ s smile. No matter how tired you are , how restless you feel ,when you see a baby smiling you will smile back and will feel very rejuvanated. But your smile should be true and sincere. An insincere grin don't fool anyone.
Moreover, people who smile tend to manage teach and sell more effectively. Also, adjustments are easily accomplished. Your smile is a messenger of your goodwill. There is a quote also that “ A man without a smiling face must not open a shop ). A warm smile is a universal language of kindness.
5. Uplode Positive to Your Brain
The brain, it turns out, works significantly better when you're feeling positive, so developing a sunny outlook allows you to be smarter and more creative. "We found that optimism is the greatest predictor of entrepreneurial success because it allows your brain to perceive more possibilities,"
6. Take Responsibility
Accepting responsibility has two basic components. Let’s discuss the first one, accepting personal responsibility – which is taking ownership of your own behavior and the consequences of that behavior. Until you accept responsibility for your actions or failures, it’ll be very difficult for you to develop self-respect or even have the respect of others.
It’s a simple truth that all human beings (young and old alike) make mistakes and poor choices. The same goes for when we fail to act when we know we should. There are times when we all look the other way when we know the right thing to do is to take helpful action. So, you should first understand one thing – you’re not the first person (nor will you be the last) who has fallen short in the personal behaviour department from time to time.
The second component of accepting responsibility is indirect responsibility. It involves moving beyond yourself and taking action to help people or situations around you that call for assistance. While this component – indirect responsibility – may not rise to the level of personal responsibility, it does reveal something about your character and the type of person you are. Clearly, there are many people who’ll walk right by the person who is down in the street, or down on his luck. However, there are others—thank goodness--who’ll quickly stop and try to help. It’s not hard to determine which of these two actions is the most responsible choice.
7. Have A Zero Attitude
Attitude talk is a way to override your past negative programming by erasing or replacing it with a conscious, positive internal voice that helps you face new directions. Your internal conversation—that little voice you listen to all day long—acts like a seed in that it programs your brain and affects your behavior. Take a closer look at what you are saying to yourself.
8. Be Proactive
"Look at the word responsibility—“response-ability”—the ability to choose your response. Highly proactive people recognize that responsibility. They do not blame circumstances, conditions, or conditioning for their behavior. Their behavior is a product of their own conscious choice, based on values, rather than a product of their conditions, based on feeling." ~ Stephen Covey
Being proactive means taking responsibility for your life and actions rather than just watching how things happen.
Being proactive takes time, since you have to consider your options, weigh alternatives and make your own decisions in order to achieve your goals. A reactive behavior is influenced by the environment and outside forces
Being proactive means anticipating problems, seeking new solutions and doing your best. Being reactive, on the contrary, means solving problems when they turn up, not wanting changes and doing the minimum effort.
